OK, so this must be setting us up for another thread in the story, right?

Enjoying the heck outta this! I started back here on gocomics as far as their archives go (2001). I wish there was a place that had reprints of the old stuff from the 60s when I was a kid.

… maybe the Moon People are Red Lectroids. Will this story take us to Yoyodyne Industries?

Yes, that’s the second Buckaroo Banzai reference recently. I’m not sure whether it might be part of a coming story or just a passing mention, but I’m starting to think that it actually could be connected to an upcoming story.

Tracy may for now be bemused by his ‘tween-aged granddaughter’s musical preferences, but he won’t be smiling when something goes terribly wrong at the theatre—it’s traditional in the Tracyverse, don’t you know? Or will it be at the TV studio? So many venues, so many assassination plots….

Buckaroo Bonsai is a dwarf tree from the 8th dimension.
