He hasn’t finished digging. There could be plenty of carbs at the bottom.

That looks like the old pyramid, it’s changed now. Oh right, it would have changed from 5000 years ago.

It’s funny that you can get a square meal, by using a pyramid….

I still remember those old public service ads touting the “4-4-3-2” eating plan.

There are SO many versions of the food pyramid now (I like the one by Dr Weil) but I’m eating vegetarian this year and this period (until next testing in Aug) I’m doing very low fat. I am really trying NOT to lose more weight (I was happy with 120#) but was 110 today (mostly holding around 112). Since I control everything I eat and drink, I can experiment.

PURPOSE: is just to document what it finally takes to go from very high BP to normal without any meds.

And on this one, I was wondering WHAT is represented above the sugar cubes (NOT very small oranges, because an orange is shown with apple).

And I remember watching “Mulligan Stew”, the short films on eating right from the 70s… catchy songs…

Well, at least the base of the pyramid is correct. You can forget grains. Most are genetically altered and lead to an inflammatory response from the body.
