Behold, an un-pale horse with no name. Oh, wait. His name is Horace. And he's sarcastic. And silly. And lives in an infinitely expandable world. And sometimes gets slapstuck. And day after unpredictable day he boldly goes where no horse -- let alone a comic strip -- has gone before. Yes, there are sidekicks; a bird, a lady horse, a never-seen neighbor. And if the post-it note did not exist, Samson would have had to invent it so Horace would have yellow panels in which to play. Welcome to the bright side of the world. May the horse be with you.

And here’s another one that would makea a great animation.
Or better yet, a great blackout animation. Do the producers of Saturday Night Live know about this strip?
Happy, happy, happy!!!

Samson, did you ever watch “Laugh-In”?
Gerbilonawheel said, 4 months ago

Somebody mentioned “Laugh-In” to me here a couple of months back so I googled, saw and enjoyed it a lot. I didn’t dig very deep, so I’ve yet to see any of their elevator gags… but anyway, Goldie Hawn was a babe! Whatever happened to her…? ;)
I watched some Pink Panther and Road Runner shows in the 80’s but never really studied them. I guess they must have already used most of the stuff I come up with, ha ha!

Yow, if Horace has this much trouble with literal reality buttons, what will he do with an Yield/Stop sign?
.
If the idea strikes you I, wouldn’t worry about thinking like a genius SG. Pie in the face is of ancient origin and still funny. McCay had mobius stairways. Buttons that do what you don’t expect gave Felix the Cat a good run.

Goldie Hawn is still an actress, but not in many really big pics. I think her biggest success was as Private Benjamin.

Now it’ll be easy to go down.

Have you tried Ernie Kovacs. He invented visual comedy or at least made good use of TV cameras to create surreal situations.
