Richard Thompson's Cul de Sac, is a comic strip about the life of a pre-school girl named Alice Otterloop. It is a light-hearted comic strip centered around a four-year old girl and her suburban life experiences on a cul-de-sac with her friends Beni and Dill, older brother Petey and her classmates at Blisshaven Academy pre-school. Alice describes her father's car as a "Honda-Tonka Cuisinart" and talks to the class guinea pig, Mr. Danders. She has the typical older brother who plays jokes on her, and she contemplates ways to keep the scary clown from jumping out of the jack-in-the-box with friends.

Toad Zombies is apparently heavily autobiographical. I think Petey needs a good editor. Not Alice.

Can’t wait for the movie.

There won’t be a movie. The book will be enough to put everyone to sleep.

@Citizen GROG!
Sure there will be. It’ll be by a famous minimalist European director and it will feature 100 different camera angles, zooms and pans of the hero sitting in the chair. At minute 78, the hero will turn the page in a heart-rending, emotion-filled display of pure, unadulterated angst. Guaranteed to win the gold at Cannes.

Actually, he’s already in the process of drawing the movie, one frame at a time. If you flip through the pages of the comic book, you get the first second of the movie!

@Destiny23
That first second will last 2 hours and 30 minutes, which is far longer than I will last watching it.

Marcus: (facepalms) What kind of author is this? Does he actually want someone to read his story?
Chibi-Robo: I have no idea. Also, good luck, Richard! If Petey has to take over the strip, we’ll die of boredom!
Marcus: Kind of like how Shadow died of boredom when he went to the island of Sodor?
Chibi-Robo: He was faking it so he could blow it up, remember?
Marcus: Oh… yeah.

Wow… since when does Petey like suspense? LOL!

@Chibi-robo64
I don’t think we’d exactly die of boredom if Petey started writing this strip… but it would probably take several months to finish an arc instead of a week. :-s
