Prior to now, Nixon was the most corrupt president in history, but on every count of corruption, treachery or abuse of power, Trump has far surpassed Nixon.
Nixon cheated to get elected, conspiring with the Vietnamese (through Anna Chennault in the infamous “Chennault Affair”) to sabotage the Vietnamese Peace talks (resulting in seven more years of war and tens of thousands of American deaths) and barely won by a fraction of a percentage point (though he would be re-elected four years later in a 49-state landslide).
Trump cheated to get elected, conspiring with the Russians through numerous channels (WikiLeaks, Cambridge Analytica, Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, Steve Bannon) and did not even with the most votes (and only “won” the Electoral College due to massive voter suppression in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, whose elections in 2020 will be managed by DEMOCRATIC governors and secretaries of state).
Nixon used the powers of office to usurp power, trying to become an imperial president and to obstruct justice, including firing an attorney general and a special prosecutor.
Trump has far surpassed Nixon’s abuses, with emoluments violations, violating nepotism laws, use of office for personal enrichment and even gave top secret classified intel to top officials of a hostile foreign adversary IN THE OVAL OFFICE. He has illegally interjected himself into Dept of Justice investigations, fired an attorney general, tried to fire a special prosecutor, refused to cooperate with lawful subpoenas and document requests (executive privilege can be used to protect specific, targeted sensitive documents and conversations regarding official business of state, but not to resist lawful investigations of wrongdoing or on a blanket, all-inclusive basis) and has taken aggressive actions to obstruct lawful investigations.
Nixon may still be burning in whatever hell anyone believes in, but is relieved no longer to be the very most corrupt.
To use an old Reagan line, “I knew Dick Nixon, and he wasn’t 1/100 the criminal Bonespurs is.” My dad was in business with his brother Don for a while, and I met him once when I was a kid. My biggest disgust was that indeed Nixon did extend the war I was fighting; for six years after I left, to profit his friends. Bonespurs is looking for another Viet Nam, or Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, oh, right, Iran. Amendment 25 is in order.
There is a picture, on the wall in our hallway of my wife’s grandfather and Vice President Nixon standing in our living room. The family was very Republican back then. Nixon has been forgiven and forgotten but Congress and now trump has turned them all into Democrats.
Trump.. may have gone too far.. but a lot of the blame can be laid at the feet of Mitch and his motley crew. Even an unruly 2 year old kid can be managed with reasonable parents. What you have now is absolutely no restrictions and even encouragement to misbehave by the likes of Lindsey.
Mr. Trump’s greatest achievement, and therefore Mr. Putin’s greatest victory, is nothing to do with trade or diplomacy or the economy. It’s what he’s done to us, the American People. We have become our own foes. As Pogo so aptly remarked, “We have met the enemy, and he is us.”
And Tricky Dicky has no room to judge ANYONE after the way he abandoned MIA’s in Vietnam AFTER he intentionally prolonged the war in order to get elected. A genuine smear in the history of this country. And Il Douche is trying to outdo him!

If I could conjure Nixon from the afterlife and swap him out for Trump?
Yeah, in a split second.
