Absolutely. Not only do the denial folks hamper action on Global Warming. They refuse to make preparations by changing bad environmental habits. Big oil and coal promote low milage vehicles, poor water use, support oil and coal over better options through the Republican House. Republicans block legislation for clean air and water, spoiling our most precious resources. Coal fly ash is a growing hazard purposely ignored by Republicans.

Coal ad on TV at this moment! HAR! Sure glad the FCC doesn’t mandate truth in advertising, instead “fear of the nipple”is all that sets off “conservatives”.

How are those greenies out in DC doing with all those solar panels? Hmm? Are they helping power ALL those much needed air conditioners that people need? Oh oh, what about all those electric cars that need powering stations so they can get to work? Oh? Outta luck huh? Gee….

Ignorant reply. China is fast out pacing America with clean energy. You might be surprised at the positive things, like clean jobs . You missed guys having their arms torn off at the oil wells in Wyoming, and the 5k check their family gets in compensation, for a dead son. Or perhaps the surge in methamphetamine use in Rock Springs and other oil towns in Wyoming. The oil companies make the dough and leave, no new doctors or hospitals to help out,so the ill and injured go to Colorado and Utah.

Germany installed more solar panels in 2011 than America has in the last 50 years. I love how conservative bloggers want us to send our money over to the Middle East, keeping us dependent on expensive foreign energy, when clean energy is available here and it promotes job growth.

What the hell are you talking about? As a nation we are falling behind all the other major industrial nations on research and development of clean renewable energy sources and so you want to attack it based on the fact that it isn’t helping us because it doesn’t exist. Truly stupid dude!

It may be hot in the USA but we’re having more rain in a day than we usually get in a month, for days on end. Summer is stuck in the mid-Atlantic. The reason? A kink in the jet stream. <http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=jetstream;sess=/> and <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jet_stream>.

Stuff happens. The summer of ’76, in the UK, was hot. Nothing like it since then. The globe has not warmed up in well over a decade. In Roman times we grew grapes as far North as York. The Medieval Warm Period anyone? Wind Power is a waste of money. Solar Power and hydro-electric, not so. Nothing to do with “Global Warming”, just practicalities.

Global Warming? Get real. Only the liberal West believes in it any more.

We could use more wind turbines. Here in kansas the wind is set on high and the temperature is set on hot.
Last summer we had lots of back to back 100*+ then winter was a non-winter. A good but early spring and now it’s the hair-drier on high.
It’s hard not to believe it in this area.

Hot weather in July? I would be concerned if there were 3 foot snowdrifts right now.
100 degree weather is NORMAL. Should we be concerned Europe is below average?
Actually all people that believe in global warming empty your bank accounts and sell everything you have tomorrow and give all your money to the global warming scientists. Then go live in a cave and wait for the end of the world. We won’t miss you.
