Unemployment is down, folks are retiring from the “workforce” by age, or are dropping that second job because they finally earn enough to only need one, even though overall, “conservative” economics has kept salries flat, while corporate profits and CEO “benefits” have SOARED!
The other CRITICAL problem is America has too many people UNDER-educated for the available jobs, either college or “techs schools”, but hey, we can’t pay taxes to improve education. (Yes, administration DOES take up too much funding, but nothing compared to the salaries of football and basketball COACHES, who earn more than college chancellors- of whole systems, not just individual schools.)
Ah, but that’s the answer, everyone needs to be a professional football or basketball player! Problem solved!
