That’s right, Calvin — stick to your guns.

Who else would use neo-cubism to represent seeing another’s perspective as being wrong with the world?

Curiously once you start approaching the speed of light you start seeing perspective curve and a side normally hidden from you comes into view.

    Nothing exists without an opposite

What’s the opposite of a telephone?

@Night-Gaunt49: The speed of light? That could explain it, because Calvin’s imagination works at close to the speed of light.

On the other hand, the U.S. Congress has great difficulty seeing the other side of things. Perhaps that is because they don’t work anywhere close to the speed of light.

The non-telephone. It was quite popular before everyone decided we had to have instant and constant connectivity…. The non-phone (as we called it) still exists, but is extremely rare.

This is one (of many) C&H strips that show definitively why Watterson is a genius. Great artwork and the ability to take literary and philosophical ideas and relate them in a hilarious way to Calvin’s (humans’) ego. Fantastic stuff.
