    Nice to see Calvin first work himself into insomnia then out of it to get some restful sleep.

    Good morning ! You’re very welcome. I hope you’ll enjoy it.
    I’d say this is typical of the type of humour you can expect. What do you think, is it your type of humour too ?

    Aww, this is a lovely comic strip. The last four panels are particularly cute. :)

    This one hurts me a little as my best friend Samba my dog is away at a veterinary hospital with a bad lung and heart condition that and the fact he won’t eat which is bad for his diabetes. I really miss him and I am so very worried about him and that I may be having to say the final goodbye soon.

    I am sorry to hear that. Our pets (mostly cats and dogs) are more than property or animals, but companions and family members.

    I found this somewhere, apologies if you are not Protestant:
    Sometimes we look beyond, beyond so many things.
    Perhaps the confines of a room, beyong our sufferings.
    With eyes of faith, we look beyond the now, with all its fear;
    We know a God who is all-wise will one day make things clear.
    And so we look beyond ourselves to what the Lord can do.
    With Him all things are possible, in time he’ll bring us through.
    But until then, we must go on and pray for strength to cope,
    Our hearts must never lose its song, or ever cease to hope.
    With gaze that’s set beyond the clouds, we’ll keep on pressing on;
    So thankful that through eyes of faith we’ll see a brighter dawn.
    Though sometimes we don’t know why God does things,
    We must accept that he knows what He’s doing and that we fit into his plan.
    —written by Arnold Howard
