It must be room for some days to walk, to swim and have fun. After it, studying goes better again!

Then there is that old story of the Father, ignorant of the economy, who ran a successful roadside stand until his college educated son came home and told him to cut back because the economy was in bad shape.

I forget all the details, but the upshot is the “ignorant” heretofore successful business man goes broke listening to his "educated’ son.

Today, ignorance is more than a quality-of-life issue. In order to believe the news media and enjoy what passes for entertainment of TV, it’s practically a virtue. (Man, talk about a comic strip that was 25 years ahead of its time…)

God created all the wonderful plants, flowers, trees, animals, meadows, mountains, lakes and much more and than he wanted someone to see, what fine things he had made, so he created humans. – But how shall we God prais, when we never can see, what he had done! So we need breaks to go out and see all precious things he had created, when we come back, we will prais him much more and eagerly!

Ignorance is bliss, Hobbes, ignorance is bliss. It’s knowing that’s gotten the world in trouble.

Sorry to have to disagree – he wasn’t ahead of his time, he was reflecting it. Ignorance was every bit as prevalent back then as lady. Remember, back then is when they were thinking up stuff like reality TV.
