    It can be difficult to remember the lessons of history. Especially things that happened way back yesterday.

    A lot of the conversations between Calvin and Hobbes go downhill from the very beginning, and sometimes they drop off abruptly.

    Hobbes remembered his mother saying, “If your friend were going to jump off a cliff, would you jump off with him?”

    Doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result, makes you something. But it does not make you unlucky.

    Hi Wiseguy411. See the final comment on April 9th. I posted a Peanuts strip for you with perhaps the first appearance of the wall, but not yet the philosophy wall.

    Also see the second Pearls Before Swine strip that I posted on April 17th. Stephen often has Rat and Pig standing at the seashore to discuss philosophical things, but here he has borrowed the wall from Charles Schulz.
