Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

Even for our hero thats one h of a ride.

The ride is fun, it’s the sudden stop at the end that’s the killer.

Why is a little kid all alone like this?

@38lowell
’Cos it was written in the days long before we all became so concerned about such a thing.

Where’s Hobbes. He usually is on board or smart enough to bail out.

Um…you do know that comic strips are not reality, right?

Something tells me that panel 3 shows Ohio (especially Chagrin Falls, Bill Watterson’s hometown).

A man’s reach should exceed his grasp, or what’s a heaven for?

This reminds me of visiting the Nagano winter Olympics site in Japan before the games and being taken to the top of the ski jump. Man, those things are HIGH. I backed up very slowly and gratefully took the elevator back down.
