Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

Suppose the puddle that you see is an ocean to the microscopic beings who live around it and have formed a civilization. Even though the puddle may dry up in one day (to us) for those microscopic beings that one day may be thousamds of years.

Calvin’s fantasy immediately brought up the image of the other great fantasy delusionate: Rick & Joanie’s son Jeff.

Calvin, you should have set up those snow people as a set of ten-pins.
Then they’d REALLY be bowled over!!!

Frame 3 is just a visual trick. Calvin is actually walking on level ground, but Watterson tilted the frame to make it look like he’s walking up the hill.
It’s the same trick they used on the old Batman TV show to make it look like Batman and Robin were Bat-roping up the side of a building.
