Calvin proceeds from a false assumption. Ignorance is normally not bliss…

Lots of laws and rights get bent out shape in school.
But it sure is fun to watch Calvin go to the edge and test Mrs Wormwood.

The Declaration of Independence is an important document in US tradition, but it does not have the force of law. It proposes “life, liberty and pursuit of happiness” as unalienable rights but cannot guarantee them.

I’d give Calvin a pass for even knowing about the Declaration of Independence at his age.

Today, Calvin is active in the Tea Party movement. (Sorry; someone had to say it.)

Bill Watterson was a visionary. Kids today have too much entitlement…

Everytime I’m in IKEA, the whole place is like a playground and the creche is empty. Everything today seems marketed at kids.

No wonder they don’t want to grow up.
