Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

Torrential rain yesterday…me outside, going my way, loving it….the streets and shops were empty. Local people are terrified of rain because we live in an area where drought is the norm. I didn’t whip off my clothes and dance, like Calvin, but I did enjoy getting thoroughly soaked in spite of my umbrella.

If you had any common sense at all, Calvin, you would would have known to come in out of the rain sooner. Big plans often take a back seat to Mother Nature.

Same sort of weather we’re getting here. Never seen so many floods at one time.
