Hi LX013. Since you are in Europe, I guess you’ve come from bed and we are going to bed.

Should we fear that our boy is off to try to teach Susie about the (un)dress and customs of Gauguin’s natives? Hope not. or he’ll meet a ’50s star- the Big Bopper.

A kid should never hit his mother.

If I remember correctly Gaugin more or less deserted his pregnant wife to go live in the South Pacific, and his friend van Gogh cut off his ear after Gaugin bragged about his conquests at the local whorehouse, something van Gogh couldn’t afford, hence the gift of his ear to one of the whores there. Still, I like his paintings and his quest for a simpler life. Didn’t he die from syphillus? I seem to remember him writing that there was always some 13 year old trollop coming around to his hut. As John Lennon once sang. “Just give me the truth. All I want is the truth, I’m tired of…” I love Calvin and Hobbes. Why would anyone want more than one kid? Isn’t one enough?

When you have only one child, you always fear, something bad will happen to it and there is no one alive, when you are gone, who will pass on life.
