Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

…and then there are all the rational people who aren’t Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh and all the other climaye-change deniers…

Actually, the Earth was not farther away from the Sun. The Earth is tilted so that the southern hemisphere is getting more direct rays than the northern this time of year. That’s why it’s summer in Australia when it’s winter in the U.S.

I don’t quite get your joke. Are you referring to how people don’t understand the significance of our climaye, or are you being sarcastic about their being rational people who worry about climate change?

Edcole1961 is right. In fact the Earth is closest to the sun in January, and farthest from the sun in July.

Seems like Calvin came upon the reason people are reluctant to receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Mel(ody) Don’t forget we are moving through “time” also. We’re all time-travelers, albeit in one direction only.

JTRaine: You don’t have to see anybody’s idiotic babble. You can read the comic without reading the comments.
Where you aware of that?
