And some familes leave extra food for the spirits of those that have no families to honor and remember them.

thhis is one of the most touching and educational story arcs I have ever seen. It would be great if there were more like this.

What honorable and touching this strip is? I am very pleased after I read the strip. I seldom visited at the cemetery where my parents died at. I will not forget them. When the time goes on, I have no chance to stop by and visit there but I will not forget them. I will treasure them eternally.

I must admit I do not go to my fathers grave often, but he is with me in my heart every day. This strip amazes me as it can be so funny and then turn around and be so touching.

This is so beautiful! When my father died we scattered his ashes in a wilderness area that he loved. I’m able to honor him in my heart and know he is happy. I will see him again one day.

JPuzzleWhiz- we’ve only told Rosa’s full story once, and it has been one of our most popular story arcs. Not only because we reveal Rosa’s back story but because it was also intertwined with how Tía Carmen came to stay with the family. Additionally, the art was drawn in a more realistic style to amplify the dramatic effect.

You can read it here http://is.gd/5ApR

    Thanks

Thanks for the strip. I was deeply touched. I’m unable to visit my mother’s grave because she’s buried in her native homeland of the Philippines. But I do keep a pictures of her in my apartment and in my purse.

    God Bless!

I of course remembered the tragic story about Rosa who was killed by the drunken man and Tia Carmen went to help raising Baldo and Gracie and lived with them. It was very blessing Tia Carmen to do anything for them and their father’s sakes.

Day of the Dead is in fact a two day observance. November 1st is reserved for the children who died aka “Dia de los Angelitos” & November 2nd is the offical observence or “Dia de Los Muertos”.
