    It’s average for Agnes, she’s whelm-grounded.

    Actually it means “engulfing” or “submerging” …
    I would say Agnes is normally the whelmee, especially at school…. even if she would like to picture herself as the whelmer.

    I consider her whelming
    Introwhelming
    Extrawhelming
    Otherwhelming
    Help me out here, she doesn’t fit a 3D grid.
    She has i, j and k components as in the imaginary square roots of negative one.

    Quasiwhelming. Pseudowhelming. Semihemidemiwhelming. Megawhelming and microwhelming.
    (Hiya, SS. I was just about to paste the def. from my fave dictionary when I saw that you beat me to it.)

    Goofing of as kids we used to say, “oh no! I’m just all whelmed over!” Whelm is cool.

    It means another trip to the principal’s office for Agnes.

    Ironically, it’s archaic for “overwhelming.”

    @SusanSunshine

    I would say nuts… you beat me to the definition for Whelm – all due to my being distracted by the word Whence when on my way to Whelm. …
    .
    but that would mean I was distracted for 19 hours or so………I don’t think so…. :)
