    If you don’t know the limits to Arlo’s knowledge by now, Janis, you never will.

    No Janis. He’s just now realized he has no idea what to get you. To guys that haven’t figured that trick out, it’s too big a mystery to ponder.

    I hate Christmas.

    The only wrong thing that Scrooge did was that he changed.

    Same with the modern-day rip-off of Scrooge: the Grinch.

    It also means that Arlo hasn’t started yet.

    Hubby and I haven’t exchanged gifts in decades. We’re now in our mid-70s, and don’t need a blessed thing. We have each other, a nice house, and a passel of kids and grandkids and that’s enough.

    @Dani Rice

    My hubby and I are getting that way too. I much prefer to see our son’s eyes light up on Christmas morning when he sees his presents. Besides, we buy things we want throughout the year for ourselves so exchanging gifts can be difficult.

    A new chainsaw would be the perfect household gift!

    very cool. that’s the way to take the pressure off. my wife and i also do that.we’re in our late 50s. if we want or need something, we’ll just get it. it’s a good time of the year to take advantage of sales…
