   Yeah, Big Nate peaked from 1995 to 2010, and now it’s just not good. It’s so much worse compared to old big Nate. Many people respond to these arguments with “Oh, you can’t do any better” but we’ve seen Pierce do better before. I don’t think the strip should end, but it’s definetly not as good as it used to be.

   Man, I’m kind of dissapointed in this arc. The whole “Kids versus teachers” thing is a neat idea, but it’s just devolved into the old overused Big Nate jokes just in a different setting. 4 out of 6 of the comics in this arc are just overused jokes, instead of finding new ones that relate to the setting. Take the old Kids versus teachers basketball game. In that arc, it had much more unique jokes, which combined the nature of basketball with the players of Nate and his teachers. But in this, it’s just, "Nate hate mrs. Godfrey, Nate get Detention, etc.
