   To clarify, I am completely for everyone spending a healthy amount of time outdoors away from all technology. We need to have a good balance of exposure to both these things. Living with the consequences of too much time indoors and eyes glued to a computer screen or such is not worth it as I get older.

   Btw, I’m using uBlock Origin and Ghostery add-ons (Firefox) as my ad blockers. I got it briefly in the early morning hours (3am-6am), but right now everything looks normal.

   What’s wrong with that? We’ve gotten a bit lax on that issue, tbh.

    Actually, it’s quite common. The Macs of that era (PowerPC and Intel CPUs) have Linux distros that support those architectures. It certainly gives new life and usability to older hardware that can’t run the latest version of OS X or macOS. And OS X is actually BSD UNIX running under the hood.
