Yeah! And stop calling jumbo shrimp an oxymoron! Shrimp is the name of the shellfish. There is no oxymoron there!

Unthinking MAGAbots (as if there are any other kind) assume anyone who doesn’t worship their orange master must be a LEFTY! Basically they’re saying anyone with a brain in his/her head must be lefty.

Given the behavior of the Republican Party since 2016 on, that does seem to be true……..

My comment was somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but it does seem off base given that it’s not an exclusively male club. Maybe X-Team? Seems like a one-syllable word would help it roll off the tongue as easily as does X-Men.

Petty gripe alert – I’ve never understood why all scandals are now tagged with the -—gate label, when gate was simply part of the name of the hotel (Watergate). “Gate” itself in no way implies anything scandalous. Imagine if the break-in had instead occurred at a Marriott or a Four Seasons, or a Super8 even. What then??

I have a similar grief with adding “oholic” to everything, like shopoholic or chocoholic (often spelled with an ‘a’ in place of an ‘o.’ “Ohol” is part of the word “alcohol” and does not in itself mean addicting. So why do we treat it as if it is??

    That is all.
