I agree with Mildred. If everything is going great, don’t enjoy it TOO much, as there almost always seems to be some sinister force in the background, which will eventually show it’s ugly face, and mess up the good time. I ALWAYS have a slight sense of dread when things are going too well. Such is life.
This reminds me of the 1970 Joe Namath movie ‘C.C. and Company’, in which during the opening sequence, Namath’s biker character C.C. Ryder nonchalantly opens items directly off the shelves of the supermarket in order to make a sandwich, and proceeds to eat it without paying for the items. I will never unseen that, and to this day, I will occasionally have a dream in which I am going around in the supermarket, eating items off the shelf, Little Debbie Snack Cakes in particular.
It is several different things, such as the upper front part of a boot or shoe. Or to repeat a short, simple passage of music, such as what Nancy does on her trombone, Vamping a tune to Sluggo’s dismay.
I have discovered an ‘I Am Not A Robot’ box I click on.
