   A micronation in his (and my) minds where French and English (and sometimes Japanese) are the primary languages. Also, he’s a huge fan of French progressive rock. There is also a strong Canadian influence in both our lives — not just Shatner, McKennitt, Mitchell and Young, or my late friend Steve G who was from St. Thomas. We’ve both spent a lot of time in Toronto and Ottawa, and listening to CBC, reading the Star, etc. I have several relatives with dual citizenship, and so on. So, honorary Canadians (I almost married somebody from Kingston!), but unfortunately unable to become official ones.
