    2. If I’m not mistaken (always a possibility), this is one of the relatively few strips with two appearances of Fuzzy. (The umbrella guy is a favorite part of “Bozo” for me.)

    There seems to be a missing word (“are”) in panel 3.

    In any event, this strip makes a good point about kids’ lives being over-scheduled, apparently as training for a life as adults who work too much. Keeping some of your life for play or leisure or hobbies or family and friends shouldn’t be viewed negatively as “not working.”

    My first thought was that she’s lucky that the newspaper is still being delivered to her house. In my area, our local paper (a well-known national one) decided last year to switch from home carrier delivery to mail delivery. The change effectively turned a morning paper into an afternoon paper, much to my chagrin…

    (Yes, I know I can read the paper online in the morning, but to me, it’s just not the same reading experience.)
