    I used to love to sing in the shower when I was a teenager. I’d have my transistor radio in the room with me & sing away. Our bathroom was at the very top of the stairs. One time I stepped out of the bathroom after a shower & my dad was standing at the bottom of the stairs, applauding.

    I once had a job as a proofreader for an advertising agency. Sometimes my husband would ask me to look at something he wanted to post or an email he wanted to send. File this under, “Be careful what you wish for.” I’ve had to tone down my editing prowess for him. LOL

    I’m reminded of when my brother & I wanted to open a lemonade stand. We used our Lite Brite as a “neon” sign. I don’t remember how many extension cords we used to get from the house to the street, but we managed.

    I have a friend who saved (or her mother saved) all of her old childhood dresses. Her daughter wears them now & it’s so sweet.

    My older daughter feels the same way. In college in the middle of Boston she had the freedom to come & go & didn’t need a car to go anywhere. Here she needs to ask for rides.
