Gorrell is a MAGA acolyte: He has never argued that Trump is not guilty of everything Trump has been accused of (and like most lifelong criminals, guilty of so much more); his sole argument is that Trump should not be subject to the same laws as everyone else. Gorrell needs to explain why he believes this.
That exemption should be in place by closer of business today. Not because Orange Jesus did not do what he was accused of; he obviously did and a jury saw the facts and rendered a verdict. The MAGA-GOP just believes that Trump is above the law.
Please note: No MAGA-GOP person has ever claimed that Trump did not do what he has been accused of, be it New York, Mar a Loco, DC, or Georgia. Their only position has been that Trump should not be tried for any of these crimes because he is Trump. That is pure B.S. Is is ignorance or maliciousness?
On trial for what? Some allegations from Comer and Paul? Why is he not on trial? Because he did nothing wrong. Because a fake case cannot be created. I love how people think it is a travesty that Trump is on trial when he has OBVIOUSLY done a lot of bad and illegal things, but these same people think it is a travesty when people who have done nothing wrong are not on trial. Jeez.
