Effective compromise is the kind of genius that takes hard work and commitment.

Once upon a time all Americans and half of the world cheered JFK for saying we chose to do these things and strive for progress not because it’s easy, but because it is hard.

Right from the start, we been migrating all over the planet — it’s what humans do.

We have claim to some of the more interesting migrations here in America. Religious separatists, 10 million slaves, a million indentured servants and convicts, famine survivors, homicidal trails of tears, DPs from wars on every continent, easterners going west, southerners goin’ north, northerners goin’ to Florida, etc., etc…

When chiefs, kings, businessmen, or politicians want power, they stir up a frenzy using bugaboo racist xenophobic language.

The hypocrisy is no less shocking for its constant repetition. America ‘migrated’ 10 million Africans — at gunpoint & in chains.

And as Rod Serling foretold, don’t let your guard down — He’s Alive. (Hitler)

We took for granted that our love of American Democracy is shared by all. Naiveté ain’t in it — obviously MAGAts just don’t give a danm about it, law & order, or anyone but themselves.

Oh wow! If, by some crazy unprecedented guardo ill-legal move, this con gets off…

Goodbye rule of law and hello Crime Nation.

The MAGAs do know that he stole all of the donated ‘Wall’ money, don’t they?

Yeah. That’s a fine opinion, spun just so. Everybody’s got one they want to get out. The ones in question, the ones that matter, Supreme Court opinions.

    The specific questions remain:

    • Win what?

    • Can’t compromise on what?

    • Living together peacefully as opposed to exactly what, according to law?

And now we have Justice Alito’s unfiltered words:

“One side or the other is going to win. There can be a way of working, a way of living together peacefully, but it’s difficult, you know, because there are differences on fundamental things that really can’t be compromised.”

Win what? A war? A game? Peace is difficult because of “things” that “can’t be compromised” — W.T.F. ???

Major cities run at capacity congestion much of the time, regardless. Attaching payments to the deal makes it pay-for-play, and 80% of us (or so) can’t pay.

That ain’t progress —it’s more like a Caste system.

“Pack your sh!t, folks. We’re going away, and we won’t leave much of a trace either. Maybe a little styrofoam, maybe. The planet will be here, we’ll be long gone; just another failed mutation; just another closed-end biological mistake; an evolutionary cul-de-sac.

The planet will shake us off like a bad case of fleas, a surface nuisance…” — G. Carlin
