And the result is that the story is frantic mess that ends up supporting the kind of people it claims to deride. Not very smart writing or storytelling. I’d rather people think I’m boring.

Maybe they should have installed more modules than “agonizing endless talking heads” when building the Make-Nancy-comic-tron 9001.

You saw nothing! A thing no criminal or mobster said ever.

He fixes elections, launders money, and traffics kids in Missouri. He fixes elections, launders money, and traffics kids in Missouri not. He fixes elections, launders money, and traffics kids in Missouri! Home of Heart of the City (crime) syndicate Andrews and Mcneel!

Considering the previous story was all about defending claiming elections are “rigged” and felt like Jan. 6th insurrection fanfiction and before that it was “child labor is good and helpful and even better when done at night in secret!” I am super looking forward to seeing the next story “Heart has scores of felony convictions but still feels she is the most viable GOP presidential candidate”.

Ask the sphere to show you Dana Simpson’s original webcomic Raine Dog, a comic hiding behind claims of “trans allegory” to depict a dog having an intimate and romantic relationship with a young boy. And you might be wondering why a Missouri based, Andews & Mcneel owned comic syndicate would hire someone with that kind of history but did you know Missouri is under heavy investigation for child trafficking and labor? Almost like the point is to normalize groomer friendly content and creators.

Did you know the 1958 Disney movie “White Wilderness” is rather infamous for the misinformation it presented about lemming migration, establishing the myth that said creatures would off themselves en masse for no real good reason other than we have to assume the film makers thinking it would be entertaining? But Disney has never explained what made them come to that conclusion because surely if you have the need to fake drama in your documentary for the sake of entertainment then surely there are things to try before you back a literal truckload of animals off a cliff. Anyway. something to think on while reading a strip where a Disney cartoonist spent a week having weird stuff happening for no good reason other than seemingly seeing how people would react to it.

I mean, you sure seem soopar cereal concerned about it for some reason. Mind telling me why?

Yeah, that I think its embarrassing how you guys lack a sense of perspective or scale and start clutching your pearls and running for your fainting couches because someone said something slightly salty about a cartoon you like. Not to mention all the negging, like I should judge myself lacking in personality because someone who gets upset over someone not liking the same comic strips they do said so.
