This cartoon doesn’t make much sense. Davy Crockett wearing a surgical mask introducing himself to 45? Crockett was among a small group of soldiers defending the Alamo during the siege from overwhelming forces of Mexican army under President General Santa Anna. 45’s terrorists ATTACKED the Capitol. Davy Crockett WAS a folksy man who served in Congress, but the parallels end there. Perhaps the cartoonist is saying that the Texian Army was just as illegitimate in its occupation of the Alamo (taken from the Mexican Army several months prior) as those who attacked the Capitol, and that someday history might have a rosy view of what 45 did?
