I had that same problem! There was one female who spent years attacking her reflection in the heat-reducing coating we had on our back windows. I kept expecting her to give herself a cracked beak or something.
I constantly warn my moving obstacles that causing Meowmy to fall down and kill herself will result in a massively reduced quality of life for them going forward. The lack of concern for this point is stunning.
Just this weekend my hubs and I loaded a case of canned food into the Infinite Cupboard of Foods and realized we only had one case left in storage. I immediately sat down and ordered two more cases because CATS!!! I really don’t want to wake up one morning to find I’m the main course because supplies got too low!
When I kept a snake, it was a very polite water snake who would happily eat thawed smelt from the grocery store and never had to be given live (or recently live) meals. I couldn’t do the live meal thing.
They would do it for free, just because MAGAt’s gotta MAGAt.
