    I enjoyed a brief elevator encounter with a gentleman leaving his orthopedic doctor’s appointment. He explained that he was advised to save his shoulder by not playing so much pickle-ball. He had overdone it due to his recent retirement, which he said felt like one long weekend!

    Lots of students have created extra work and a low grade for themselves when responding to a list of directions to follow that begins with #1 Read the entire list before you respond" and ends with #10 Skip numbers 2 through 9, put your name on the paper and turn it in.

    I remember reading a study contrasting the verbal utterances of boys with girls. I was surprised that the boys used more words in conversation but not surprised that the girls used higher level vocabulary words.
