If Israel wants US foreign aid, then they can’t expect it to come completely free of provisions. We’re enormously generous with Israel, far more so than any other nation. Obviously, they can do whatever they like (free advice is worth what you pay for it), but so can we — if we want to withhold aid because we don’t like what they’re doing with it, then that would be our prerogative.
I don’t think folks should be so concerned about the possibility of a neck injury in this case. She fell from a standing position to the floor, not down a flight of stairs. A serious neck injury is not likely. A head injury is a real possibility, though, so rolling her into the recovery position was a very good idea, since this can lead to vomiting — you don’t want aspiration pneumonia.
As far as Tara getting campus security instead of 911 — folks don’t always think of the same things in an emergency. She was told to call help, so she did. She just thought of the nearest available help instead of thinking of 911.
It’s been a quarter century since I was in college, but my small liberal arts college had them. And I definitely knew athletes who wore their letterman jackets around. (It’s not like our school was known for its athletics program, but there ya go.) We had cheerleaders too, but I didn’t likewise didn’t know of anyone who wore their cheer uniform all the time. Thankfully, it seems the world has few Stefs in it. ;-)
Well yeah, I mean technically that is true. But I am getting tired of it.
