   Last November when I had covid I passed out, exhausted, on top of the bed. I woke up in the night, desperate to pee. I staggered to the bathroom and keeled over trying to lift the seat. It took much too long to get back up!

   I spent nine years doing rotating 12 hr shifts. → Seven 12 hr shifts per fortnight. [2 days 2 nights; 2 day 3 nights; 3 days, 2 nights wth a half day to switch days to nights] I woke up at either 02:30 or 14:30. I read once it takes a year to get over shift work. That’s about what it took. Survived by getting a nap on my lunch breaks. Left home at 04:00 to get to work by 06:00. Retired almost 10 years ago.
