Those are Lucy’s jam. She loves to bat them back and forth between her paws. And of course, bat them under the fridge and stove. She has actual cat toys that are “wavy” rings, but they’re not her go to. Almost the same thing!
So, the toy obviously has seen better days. When ordering their food online I saw a snake on a stick, it was under $7, so I thought, why not. Well, it must have been on sale because it was (no kidding) about 18 " long, and 2-3" thick. Neither Linus nor his sister Lucy wanted anything to do with it. LOL.
Linus has one of those twisty plush snakes (worm? whatever?) on a stick w/a suction cup. Unless the cat has just been born, there is no way the suction cup hold the stick in place. Then, of course, the stick becomes a toy, too. So, I cut the plushy off of the stick, and fast forward many years — there is a well-worn, well-loved, hasn’t been twisty in awhile toy that he still loves
Iggy! Best comment ever. And just whose shadow is that in the last panel? (cue old timey radio serial drama music) “The Shadow Knows.” (we’ll be right back after this announcement from our sponsor).
I love the perspective in panel one!
