I understand that; it’s not a logical fear. Once we saw a hummingbird in our front yard, and she was so excited, and wanted to see it up close. When she realized it was a Goliath moth, she completely freaked out and ran into the house to get away from it.
My favorite appearance of his was when he was on Allen Funt’s Candid Camera. The idea was to surprise the kids with him showing up behind the kid and having a talk with them. It didn’t go very well; the kids barely reacted. Allen Funt had Ali wait on a bench for him afterward. They got into a conversation about Allen Funt’s show, how it was an overall disappointment, etc. Ali defended him, saying how he and his wife watched it every week and he loved how Allen Funt made people laugh, which was so needed. They got to talking about Ali. He explained that most of what he did was showmanship, making people want to watch him box. When Allen Funt asked him about Ali’s claim to be the greatest boxer, Ali got very serious, and said that no, that part was for real. He really believed he was the greatest. All throughout, Ali was so open, and warm, and even personable and funny that it was outright hilarious when he realized Allen Funt had filmed the whole thing. It really presented Ali in in a very different and engaging light. It can be found on YouTube.
Not to my wife. She loves butterflies, but has an honest-to-goodness, full-blown panic attack when she sees moths. I wish I were making this up. Butterflies have knobs on the end of their antennas, and their wings can fold up flat against each other, above their bodies. Moths have feathery antennas without knobs, and their wings go flat against their bodies when not extended in flight.
As a retired IT worker, that is one of the top two complaints. “It’s broken.” and " It doesn’t work." Neither of those gives the tech ANY idea of what the actual problem is. The #3 complaint is “It won’t power up.” That, at least, gives us a starting point. The tech can then ask, “Is it plugged in, with the power strip turned on?”
I think most people will do well if they listen to their body signals. This plan works well for me without making me feel stressed. If yours works for you, by all means, go for it!
I suppose it might be hard on the kidneys if I didn’t drink water. With this plan I never go hungry, because I have permission to eat at any time of the day. Since I’m not ever starving myself, no strain on the kidneys should be expected.
