I think it is really sad (and almost unbelievable) that reading negative comments about Luann “removes pleasure” from Argy’s life. IMO, anyone whose happiness is dependent upon the comments made about a COMIC STRIP is in need of some serious help.
I just find it very sad and almost unbelievable that a negative comment about Luann removes pleasure from Argy’s life. Good grief, it’s a comic strip! Get a grip!
Or, on the other hand, since this is still a free country last time I checked, I can continue to read it, criticize it when it’s bad, and praise it when it’s good. And if you can’t tolerate reading any criticism of this strip, then YOU can quit reading the comments.
If reading comments from people who disagree with you “removes pleasure from you,” then perhaps YOU need to stop reading the comments instead of telling others to stop reading the strip. Long-time, loyal readers of the Luann comic strip have a right to complain and criticize when the strip becomes pure drivel BECAUSE as long-time, loyal readers, WE DESERVE BETTER! I don’t appreciate you or anyone else telling me or anyone else to stop reading the strip. I will complain and criticize all I want, and if you can’t tolerate someone espousing a viewpoint that doesn’t agree with yours, then it is YOU that needs to stop reading the comments!
