I loved it when my doubles teammate and I would set up the poach and it worked. Especially against Thurston High. The satisfaction of blasting a “no return shot” past those snobs always brought a roar from our supporters.
the problem with a broken clock that is right two times a day, is that because it is right two times a day many people think it is right all the time. same with a lot of people today. because they come to the right conclusion once in a great while, they think that means they are right all the time. js
I passed one ONCE! The penalty was almost more than I could bear. It literally brought me to my knees and tears to my eyes. I hadn’t had such painful emotions since the $150 speeding ticket I got in Wisconsin by a small-town speed trap cop who was a legend in her own eyes. She just knew it wasn’t worth taking a day off work to come back to court to fight it. grrrrrrrr
Sadly in today’s world, many have not left this level of “logical” reasoning and conclusions but have chosen to continue it into their “adult?” lives. Many of these types of “logical” persons have taken the paths of Business and Politics for their choice of career. It used to be or seemed at least to be at a much lower percentage level, but again sadly. it seems to be a much higher percentage in today’s culture. js
reality is whatever you wish it to be. other’s reality is whatever they wish it to be. the problem is always when two realities collide. thus politics, religion, cultures, etc. the key is to not let your reality go too dark based on the “science” of other’s reality. js
