   I’ve done disc swaps, but unless the drive is older than 15+ years, the capacity is smaller than 4GB, I don’t recommend it unless you have a clean room. Also, you would need to find an almost exact match in a used donor drive for it to work properly.

I seem to remember from my transmitter building days that Canucks could build much more powerful ones than we are allowed to build here in the states. The FCC severely restricts broadcast power to cover the average property but little else.
