I hope she does, she was a tough old woman but she seems to have lost some of it since the heart attack. She won’t listen to her good friends but she listens to the ones that want to get something from her. We can only do so much.
I have a friend, she’s 67. She always has a double vodka BEFORE going to the pub! She says “to get herself going”. So far, she’s fallen over twice in the pub, twice when we took her home and had a heart attack after we left her! She can’t understand why it happens to her!
Where he lives a beer mug is sometimes called a pint pot. Although most places now give you a straight glass. My brother has restarted a fad (in our local) where you take in your own pint jug (one of the old short bevelled ones) and they keep it for you. He buys them from charity shops cos’ you can’t get them new now.
Desperate people will sign anything. Then go back to the scratch cards and betting shops to try to pay it back.
