  1. about 20 hours ago on Arlo and Janis

I believe 4:20 was coined as the time for marijuana indulgers to imbibe related to several factors:

    1) The “Hash Bash” rallies that happened yearly since the late 60s at the University of Michigan campus yearly on “Earth Day” (April 20th).

    2) To have an “equivalent” to the 5:00pm “Happy Hour” for drinkers, but it started a bit earlier.

  2. 2 days ago on Luann

Apparently in California, it is likely a “10 Dollar Tree” or “10& Above”.

  3. 2 days ago on Luann

Yes, especially with Mrs. Horner being a bit of a grandmotherly figure to Luann.

  4. 6 days ago on Luann

Hah! That was good and COULD be what Luann is aiming for.

  5. 6 days ago on Luann

True, but that is why I listed also some things f the regulars who I think could be fun on such a trip in case G & K wouldn’t want new characters and only want “shadow people” in the background.

  6. 7 days ago on Luann

Haha! Yes, I thought I typed Dez! I wonder if d@mnable autocorrect did that when I wasn’t looking?

  7. 7 days ago on Gasoline Alley

Now it may be time for Joel’s grand entrance!!!! (sans Rufus)

  8. 7 days ago on Luann

Well, well…. even though I was not a fan of this arc continuing….. I think this “spin off” of the arc COULD BE awfully d@mn fun! Luann doing some sort of “study abroad” experience could be WONDERFUL!!!!! I hope this comes to fruition.

The caveat though would be it would need to be with the right group of folks. Possibilities I feel would be positive include:

    1. All new folks we do not know.

    2. Nil and Jack

    3. Tara

    4. Piro

and even though it may be a bit of stretch because they are at Moony, not PittCC:

    5. Bernice

    6. Gunther

    7. Roz

Folks I would rather NOT have accompany Luann in this “study abroad” would include:

    1. Tiffany

    2. Steph

    3. Bets

    4. Quill (fortunately (hopefully) nearly impossible)

While I appreciate all that you have written and agree with it, the unfortunate “best case” end point (if we get Biden again) is that we will do so, likely with less than 50% of the vote… or just a bit above 50%. In either case, the outlook remains that we remain SO POLARIZED as a nation regardless. The idea of making true benefits for people, we need to figure out how to DECREASE this polarization. I have no d@mn idea how to actually accomplish this. But… that is what I feel really needs to happen for actual improvement to occur.

Back in 2016 I was under the mistaken impression that tRump’s nomination meant Hillary was a shoe-in for the election. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I was relieved Biden was elected in 2020. Now, 2024…. and tRump may very well win again. It is such a d@mn chaotic time.
