It’s not Viacom that would sue – it’s the show’s rights holders. On top of that, they would need the sheet music for the orchestra (or possibly just a piano, since it is a middle school) for the songs not in the middle school version.
And speaking of the musical, did they ever say who got cast in what roles?
I am assuming that’s a CD of the soundtrack, as opposed to a DVD or Blu-Ray of the full show – and even if it was video, it wouldn’t be much of a guide as to “how to do the show” unless it was the Broadway version, and I doubt anyone would have authorized a video recording of it.
I wouldn’t say “most”, and besides, “most” of the high schools I know of would do the full versions of musicals. Then again, Heart is still in middle school, where they probably would do the “junior” versions of shows (like, say, just Act I of “Into the Woods”), if for no other reason than that’s what they can afford.
Am I the only one who remembers when Luann gave CPR to Bernice (I think she bumped her head on the floor in gym class), despite the fact that Bernice was breathing and her heart was beating?
