    I was once asked why you have to learn calculus. I replied, “Without calculus, you can’t learn differential equations.” Ended the conversation in a hurry.

    4.0 in Calculus 1, 2, and 3, then 3.5 in differential equations. Nowadays I use my total math knowledge to multiply by two and shift the decimal place to leave a decent tip at a restaurant.
