While some disagree with Biden’s approach to these problems, the amnesia about crises during Trump’s years is astounding. Remember “I don’t take responsibility at all”? Remember how he blamed Democrats for his early response to Covid because they were impeaching him? Remember the 187 minutes he waited to act on Jan 6th? And some think he can handle current problems? And the inevitable problems his “solutions” will create? SMH.
These are “interesting” times, more interesting than I’d like. But hey, that’s life. When your life is good, things are good with your wife and children, your job is good & solid & your team is functional, when your local, state and national governments are working for you and not for the politicians, and when there is no war in the world (well that’s never happened, I think) you really need to notice it, and be thankful.
To quote the late Gilda Radner, “It’s always something”. Take some breaks from the news (and keep in mind in the American news cycle, bad news always takes precedence over good news) when you need to and try and have a good summer. Just don’t forget to vote in November (and whenever your local primary is).
