Anti-Semitism is a terrible, racist evil, but today’s Republicans are mighty selective in when and how they criticize it. When it is about their own TrumpubliKKKlan hate-mongers carrying Tiki torches and Nazi swastika flags, they support those chanting the anti-Jewish hate speech. Trump called them “good people.”

There are legitimate concerns about the genocidal actions of the terrorist Israeli prime minister, there is no place for anti-Semitism or attacks against Jewish people or the nation of Israel as a whole. Israeli citizens are not Netanyahu, and many Israeli citizens oppose his brutal response to the terror attacks of Oct 7, 2023 and his years of brutal provocations that invited it.

There are two peoples, two cultures, two languages and there needs to be two equal and sovereign states that can live in peace, side-by-side, even if that has to be imposed and enforced by an international peace-keeping force.

Palestinians have the right to a free, sovereign and fully independent state.

Israel has a right to exist and defend itself as a free, sovereign and fully independent state.

Palestinian civilians are not Hamas.

Israeli civilians are not Netanyahu.

Hamas is a terrorist organization.

Netanyahu is head of a terrorist government.

Palestine has the terrorist groups Hamas, Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad.

Israel has the terrorist groups Irgun, Lehi, and Haganah and the government of Netanyahu.

The terrorist slogan “From the river to the sea…,” in whatever iteration it is expressed, is vile whether from Israeli terrorists opposed to a safe, secure, fully sovereign Palestinian state, or Palestinian terrorists who do not recognize the right of Israel to exist.

Of course they’re not college students … the kind of “people” (using the word very loosely) who march for Buzz Windrip typically didn’t even finish high school.

I have criticized the schools for over reacting. In Providence, today, Brown University, after meeting with the kids, has agreed to examine it’s investments in Israel et C. The tent camp has folded and been cleaned up. And that my friends, is how a problem is solved by mature adults. No clubs, no handcuffs, no arrests and no property damage.
