Reality right now is that we have an ally, supported and armed by us is killing tens of thousands of people, mostly women and children.
In our own history, we had a Manifest Destiny and we had slavery. We recognize now that it was inhumane and wrong, and yet, there are politicians who want to erase that history as if it never happened.
Politically balancing on a razor’s edge is similar to a non-decision. At least Mr. Goodwyn sees the dilemma in that situation.
Now, what is Bibi’s and DJT’s solution? More of the same sort of brutality we fought against in WWII. Find a better solution, starting with stopping the slaughter. Is that so terrible?
Definitely not a job for the faint of heart. Seems like that balance on the “razor’s edge” is the norm. I have no clue what those symbols are implying, but I can tell you; Volunteering for that position takes cajones. (Not the ones t-rump has to offer. He’d much prefer to use yours. At your expense, of course.)
The ultra-wealthy use division to prevent We The People from working together in common causes where they may be targeted as the root cause of our dissatisfaction. They fund both political parties; telling each party “You are the true Americans, the other 75% of the electorate are not worthy! It would be best if you took a side — bipartisanship is unAmerican!”. And large numbers buy into the propaganda/disinformation.
And while 40% of the electorate resisters as independent/unaffiliated [the plurality], the ultra-wealthy thwart any effort to establish a [shudder] unified third party … forcing the electorate to choose among the weel-funded candidates that they sponsor in their divisive duopoly.
Yes, the presidency requires someone who can face crises with calm, reason, and intelligence, and is wise enough to surround themselves with smart, capable dedicated people. Today, Al Goodwyn tacitly endorsed Joe Biden over The Malignant Megalomaniac.
“Genocide Joe” needs to visit the junior jihadists camped out at Columbia U. The university administration is cowering in fear from these little monsters they helped to create. Fun to watch!
Outrage in other nations has not been as loud nor strong as I would have thought. Is it because other nations picture themselves in the same situation and have no better solutions? Or something else.
This, unfortunately, is NOT an Occam’s Razor issue with a simple uncomplicated solution, and trying to make so only indicates the lack of a full understanding of the sequences/events that led to the terrible acts of vengeance, once again, perpetuating age-old hatreds. — en .wikipedia .org /wiki/Diaspora
This is a fairly well presented toon of the Presidents balancing act within his own party to steer the nation’s actions regarding Israel and the Palestinian cause. He wants to have Israel’s back but not its genocide.
Why, I do believe that Mr. Trump-is-My-Spirit-Animal Godwyn has inadvertently acknowledged the difficulty of the job that President Biden is doing while at the same time illustrating that the Democratic Party is indeed a “Big Tent” that welcomes individuals with different perspectives unified by a common belief in the value of democracy.

Yeah, DJT refused to do any part of the job that required compromise. He just blew it off.
So Biden’s wrong because he tries to do the actual job of being POTUS?

Again, I ask the question, “Why military aid to Israel?”

Actually pretty accurate. The other side has the same problem.

Trump does not have the foreign policy experience to handle the conflicts being faced. It would go from challenging to an absolute disaster under him.

Biden is trying to end the war and bring fairness to both sides. tRump would et Netanyahu finish his genocide and look the other way.

This one’s rather poignant. One of a great many reasons I think one would have to be crazy to want to be President.

Goodwyn uses Bibi’s genocide to blame Biden.
Another issue to weaponize and LIE about.

Old Biden depends on his WH staff for advice. That is like having circus clowns as thestaff. On second thought they might be of more value!

Yes, it’s a hard job. Best left to adults, not whiny toddlers.
