Gaylord is sure to tell Irwin the truth.

Broomie: “I was visiting… the jail! to be sure it was clean and prisoners were well treated.”

It stands to reason that, with her being a witch and all, over the past 1500 years she has done things that would get her locked up and have her broom confiscated. Give me an extra 1400 years or so, and I’m pretty sure I would get locked up for something.

Sorry, as usual I’m too stupid to get it.

I didn’t know witches riding their brooms could accommodate a passenger.
