Although teeth don’t really line up like the cartoon, I’d have joined a union two score ago when I received my MBA.

It IS possible to have a sincere smile without showing all your teeth.

Men (it was the 1930s; don’t think too many women were involved) died to give people a safe, reasonable (40 hour) workplace. Unions make fair pay and benefits the norm, not the exception.

The Governor is upset, pretty soon the child labor kids may unionize and get mandatory lunch breaks, oh the horrors!!!

my stepfather was a union lawyer ( UAW, I believe) I grew up assuming that unions were the way to heaven. I haven’t changed my mind. The little guys banding together put brakes on the big guys.

If you hate Unions, then do something about it. Work 7 days a week, don’t accept any paid time off, no insurance or benefits of any kind. Let them fire you for no reason. That’ll show those Union goons how tough you are.

An honest look at the union issue would show it’s about politics. If unions supported the GOP, they would be calling for mandated unions. Instead, they engage in union busting like in the old days. Of course, this goes well with the corporate sponsorship. And in the end, all we have left is more rights being taken from the people.

This guy must be working in a country that provides free medical and college. Also more paid leave and less work hours per week.
