I am extremely skeptical he would have a picture of Melania! The rest, yep, I could see that.

Remember when Khrushchev said “we will bury you”?

Electing Putin loving Trump will be Russia’s shovel.

Yeah, why not? He’s been coddled by Scotus in both the immunity and Colorado cases; he’s been treated with kid gloves by DOJ and FBI; he’s still not in jail for stealing, keeping and probably sharing classified documents and the judge in that case is in his pocket. Justice for all? I now have to believe it to see it.

Hilariously, now FOX “News”, via spokesperson shill RFK Jr., is whining and sniveling that President Biden is not meddling in any of the trials on the MAGA Messiah’s behalf.

And BTW, trolls and radicalized Fifth Columnists. in Real Life, Propaganda, whether it’s from the Kremlin and repeated on the House floor by useful-idiot politicians, or spewed by RWNJ media sources like FOX “News”, is not evidence in a civil or criminal trial. Ditto the (expletive) spewed, in court or out of court, by the mercenary MAGA shyster lawyers.

“he insisted.” “he insisted.” SO what!? He’s been given too much already, and “he insisted” is coming to be seen as reason to listen. (I know, I know the bars won’t be gilt etc.)

‘Election interference’ and ‘corruption’: Experts on Trump prosecution opening arguments

Prosecutors for the State of New York in their opening statement drew a direct line between the October 2016 “Access Hollywood” leaked audio and Donald Trump’s alleged “hush money” payoff to two women, including the adult film actress Stormy Daniels, telling the jury it was “election fraud, pure and simple.”

What with Trump’s trying to get the Military to “crack skulls” and “just shoot” protestors during the Floyd Riots. His suggestion that we use alligator moats and “shoot migrants legs” and also an “electrified wall” with “spikes to pierce human flesh” at the border. He famously took out a $Million ad calling for using the Death Penalty against children. He also wants death against “drug traffickers” and “human traffickers” using firings squads and group executions. His call to imprison reporters and his lawyer’s suggestion he could legally use “Seal Team 6 to assassinate his rivals.”

Fight like hell or you’re not gonna have a country anymore. And of course, “Bloobath.”

Al Capone had a desk, an easy chair, down the hall and outside cells from fellow inmates, and by the guard’s station in case there was a riot.

It’s been an open question for decades whether Trump belongs in prison next to Al Capone or in Arkham Asylum next to the Joker.

    I’ve said it before:

trump will not do one day in prison. Not one minute. If he is not acquitted, he will receive a suspended sentence, if he is given jail time, he will, of course appeal it, and he will, of course, remain out of prison during the appeal.

trump is a white man, and a former president, with white people lining up to send him enough money to pay for lawyers to manipulate a system of justice that was designed and which exists to protect and accommodate people like trump, with great bias in his favor.

The judge might give trump fine to pay, which, minimal or huge, trump will also delay with appeals, until someone else pays it for him.

No jail time for trump, no matter the outcome of this trial, or any of the unbelievable multitude of trials he’s facing, because in America, rich white people can “stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody”, and still be president.

    Again.

Maybe instead of Melania’s visage, part of the divorce settlement (which she should pull the trigger on posthaste lest Trump’s judgments and legal bills sap ALL of his cash and possession of all his other holdings) will be a requirement that the divorce papers must be nailed his cell’s wall.

It would be the corrwct verdict if jail was his end for all the wrongs he has committed, especially towards our country / democracy, but I don’t think it will ever be a reality.

The painted gold bars in the cartoon is just a metaphor for Trump himself. But for the accident of being born into a wealthy (if dysfunctional) family, DJT would have been an amoral outcast in Podunkburg selling used cars and annoying everyone with his delusions of grandeur. He’s the $50 gold ring at the pawn shop that turns your finger green in a month.

A pit, of the Medieval variety, seems more appropriate. A hole in the ground at least 15 feet deep with a board over it. Drop in something that passes for food about once a day or so, and have a jug at the botttom to pour water into. A chamber pot with a loop on top for extrication every few days and that does it. Admittedly more luxurious than he deserves, but I’m feeling generous.
